M&C Home Depot Donates Lumber to the Saint Lucia Boxing Association, Supporting Youth Empowerment

Castries — August 30, 2024 — M&C Home Depot is proud to announce a generous donation of lumber to the St. Lucia Boxing Association, a community-driven organization committed to nurturing athleticism, discipline, and sportsmanship among youth and amateur boxers. This contribution was vital in refurbishing the association’s boxing rings, key assets for both their training programs and competitive events.

Boxing is more than a sport – it is a powerful tool for change, particularly for youth exposed to violence or disadvantage. It teaches discipline, perseverance, and goal setting. By engaging young people in sports, programs like this help keep them focused, determined, and away from negative influences.
This donation reflects M&C Home Depot’s dedication to community support and enhancing facilities that foster youth development and well-being. The upgraded boxing ring now meets the highest standards of safety and functionality, allowing the association to continue training and hosting events that motivate young boxers to strive for excellence.
